

About the Program
Maker Village is proud to be selected among few incubators to host TIDE 2.0 [Technology Incubation & Development of Entrepreneurs] program under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology [MeitY], Govt. of India. The TIDE 2.0 scheme envisages provisioning support to tech start-ups with socio relevant themes during the entire journey from idea-to-market. Financial support in the form of Entrepreneur-in-Residence [EiR] is provided to start-ups to support for development to MVP.
EIR (Entrepreneur-in-Residence)
The Programme aims:
- To promote tech entrepreneurship through financial and technical support to incubators engaged in supporting ICT start-ups using emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, Block-chain, Robotics, etc. in preidentified areas of societal relevance.

The scheme envisions creating a holistic ecosystem to support technology start-ups and incubation centres through identifying and creating necessary linkages.
The scheme will be of benefit to start-ups working particularly in the realm of following thematic areas of national priorities:

Eligibility

The EIR applicant should be citizen of India. An Indian citizen is defined as one who is in possession of a government approved proof of nationality such as a valid passport, voter’s id etc.

The applicant must have completed basic graduation as on date of applying for EIR.

The EIR applicant should possess min. 18 years of age and maximum 40 years of age.

The recipient shall be a founder of start-up/company registered under DPIIT(OR ready to register within 6 months of EIR acceptance ).

The TIDE-EIR support recipient should propose one technology business idea in a prescribed format.

EIR seeking support should have a formal business plan for the idea they intend to pursue and a business presentation including the investment proposal.
Timeline
A 12-month program at Maker Village to support young innovators working on ICT-enabled ideas with social relevance.
